Parliament and Funkadelic, two bands united by the same core members, originally hail from Plainfield, NJ and can trace roots back to 1956. Enigmatic frontman George Clinton still leads the band, known for exceptional musicianship, politically-savvy commentary, and unforgettable concert performances. These days the hugely influential band frequently tours under the monicker George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars.
