"Update on Neurofibromatosis Type 1 in Childhood. Presented by Karen Vanderlaan, MD, Assist. Professor, Dept. Peds and Human Development, MSU, Grand Rapids campus. Objectives: (1) identify the NIH diagnostic criteria for the clinical diagnosis of Neurofibromatosis type 1; (2) develop an awareness of associated manifestations and complications of neurofibromatosis type 1; and (3) identify the recommended medical evaluation and follow-up for neurofibromatosis type 1.
